Sergeant Major Daniel Brimhall
Sergeant Major Daniel Brimhall joined the U.S. Army Field Band in 2004. He served as Oboe Section Leader from 2007 to 2017, and NCOIC of the Pentagon Winds woodwind quintet from 2015 to 2017. Originally from Sweet Grass, Montana, he began his musical studies in Lethbridge, Alberta. He earned a Master of Music degree from Yale University and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Hartt School of The University of Hartford, where he also performed with the Hartford Symphony and the Connecticut Opera. His teachers include Richard Killmer, Humbert Lucarelli, Roger McDonald, and Stewart Grant. Certified in CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Security+, SGM Brimhall currently serves as Information Management Officer for The Army Field Band.
