Master Sergeant Laura Lesche
As the daughter of a Department of Defense engineer, Master Sergeant Laura Lesche spent her childhood in several different places, including Germany and Okinawa, Japan. MSG Lesche received a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Music degree from Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. Since joining The U.S. Army Field Band in 1998, MSG Lesche has entertained audiences in a wide variety of musical styles, performing with the Concert Band, Jazz Ambassadors, Volunteers, and Soldiers’ Chorus. She was a soloist with the London Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, and National Symphony Orchestra under the batons of Marvin Hamlisch, Erich Kunzel, and Emil de Cou. MSG Lesche devotes much of her time outside rehearsals and performances to working as the unit’s Senior Equal Opportunity Leader and Soprano Section Leader.

Ms. Mary West currently serves as Budget Analyst for The U.S. Army Field Band.
