THE UNITED STATES ARMY FIELD BAND FROM WASHINGTON, DC
The United States Army Field Band tours nationally and internationally as directed by the Department of the Army. Each concert on a tour is presented by a local organization. The presenting organization is required to provide a suitable concert site, and conduct a publicity campaign designed to fill the hall. Preliminary planning of itineraries normally begins one year in advance of a tour.
The Field Band often performs concerts in support of local community events such as centennial celebrations, festivals, and city or state commemorations. It is important that requests for support of these events be made as early as possible.
