Specialist Victor Battista hails from the Hudson Valley in New York. Prior to his enlistment, he performed as second clarinetist with The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra and as a guest artist with The Austin Symphony Orchestra, The West Point Band, The Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, The U.S. Air Force Band of the West, The Central Texas Philharmonic, and The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. Spc. Battista was a finalist in The International Clarinet Association's 2025 Young Artist Competition in Fort Worth, TX and has toured as principal clarinetist for The Opera Maya Orchestra in Mexico; taken fellowships with The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and The Chautauqua Institute; performed as a woodwind doubler for Zilker Theatre Productions in Austin, TX; and taught at the Interlochen Center for the Arts
Spc. holds degrees from Indiana University Bloomington, and The University of Texas at Austin.
