Sergeant First Class Grace Bauson holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Ball State University, Master of Music degree from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Music degree from Ball State University. She studied with Elizabeth Richter at Ball State University and Judy Loman at the University of Toronto. Other instructors have included Lucile Lawrence at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute and Adelheid Blovsky-Miller at the University of Vienna. SFC Bauson is currently on the music faculty at the University of Mary Washington and previously served as instructor at James Madison University, Rocky Mountain Springs Harp Program, and the American Youth Harp Ensemble. She has performed with the Richmond Symphony, Virginia Symphony, Chautauqua Orchestra, and with the American Youth Harp Ensemble at the White House, Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, and the American Harp Society Summer Institute.
