Staff Sergeant Steven Estes joined the U.S. Army Field Band in 2021. He holds a Master's Degree from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music, where he worked as an Associate Instructor, and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Florida. Staff Sgt. Estes was a performing member of The Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps, Infinity Percussion, and Universal Studios' "Beat Builders" drumming show. He has also worked at Round Top Festival Institute and the National Orchestra Institute at the University of Maryland.
