Staff Sergeant Megan Haskell comes from Hampton, Virginia. Before joining Six-String Soldiers in 2022 where she currently serves as Lead Vocalist and Production Coordinator, she served in the United States Marine Corps as a vocalist with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band, the first Marine in such a role in Marine Corps history. Throughout her military career, she has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and at several NFL, MLB, and NBA events.

Prior to her service, Staff Sgt. Haskell toured nationally with the Celtic rock production, Rockin' Road to Dublin; led her own country group, Harley Boone; and worked as a vocalist at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

Staff Sgt. Haskell holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University with concentrations in International Relations and Mass Communications. While at home, she is in her garden or spending time with her husband or daughter.
