Paul White
Biography
Master Sergeant Paul White earned Doctorate of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Music degree from Appalachian State University. He studied saxophone and composition with Rick Margitza, Bill Gora, Rick Lawn, Dan Welcher, and Donald Grantham. Master Sgt. White’s most recent solo album has been reviewed by “Jazz Times” and “Jazz Magazine.” Prior to joining The U.S. Army Field Band, Master Sgt. White taught at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
